Saudi Prince Predicts Regional Proliferation

The former head of Saudi intelligence warned on Monday that his kingdom might seek a nuclear capacity of its own unless Western powers stop Iran’s quest for the ultimate weapon. I’m not surprised. In fact, I’ve written about the possibility of this happening for several months and have articles up today at the Atlantic Sentinel and at the Dutch blog De Dagelijkse Standaard (“The Daily Standard”) to explain where this is coming from and why it could lead Egypt and Turkey to seek nuclear weapons as well.
