Topic: Mechanurg's second novel

So now my second novel has been published Link >>>

Iskriget (The Ice War) is a dieselpunk alternate-history spy adventure (in Swedish unfortunately for most of you). It is somewhat based on my experiences as a civilian logistics specialist in the Sweedish contributions to the UN peacekeeping operations in Bosnia in the early 1990s. The book also contains two shortstories inspired by my time in Kabul three years ago.

AFGHANISTAN 2009
I walk through the dry hills
I hold the little girl's hand
I wrestle the wildfire
I share the pain
Because if not I, who? If not now, when?

Cool. I'd order it if I was still in the country. alas, I think I have to shalk it up on the to-be-read list.

You will never come up against a greater adversary than your own potential

Re: Mechanurg's second novel

Congratulations Mechanurg! I am very happy for you. I think writing is one of the greatest contributions one can make to the world.

Thanks a lot. If you want to know what I can do in English, this is a piece of non-fiction I wrote in 1994. Link >>> It is a study of the failed UN peacekeeping mission in Kashmir.
